How quickly can we start?
Most engagements kick off within 1–2 weeks of signing. For staff augmentation we can often have an engineer onboarded within a week. We always run a complimentary scoping call first to make sure we're the right fit.
Who owns the IP?
You do. We assign full intellectual property rights for everything we build, including source code, designs, and documentation. Open-source dependencies are tracked and licensed appropriately, and we never lock work behind proprietary infrastructure.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Mutual NDAs are standard before any technical discovery. If you have your own NDA template, we'll review and counter-sign quickly.
Fixed price or time-and-materials?
Both. Fixed scope works well for discovery sprints and MVPs with clear deliverables. Dedicated teams and staff augmentation are time-and-materials at a transparent monthly rate. We'll recommend the model that fits your timeline and risk profile.
What happens after launch?
We can stay on for ongoing iteration, observability, and incident response — or smoothly hand off to your team with full documentation, runbooks, and pair-coding sessions. Many clients keep us on for a quarterly roadmap cadence.
Where is the team based?
We're a UK-based studio with a distributed senior team, working UK business hours. We default to virtual meetings to save everyone time and travel, and we're happy to meet in person anywhere in the UK for kickoffs or workshops when it genuinely moves things forward.
